When the skin suffers an injury and loses its integrity, from the first moment a series of mechanisms are put in place to close the wound and restore its integrity. Result of this are the scars that do not cease to be the "special" tissue that our skin generates to heal itself. Fibroblasts are the cells responsible for creating this fibrillar tissue, different from that of intact skin, hence its different appearance.

The final result of a scar depends on many factors, such as the size and depth of the wound, the shape, the part of the body in which it is located, age, sun exposure, treatments received on the wound or state of health of our skin. That is why it is important that, when our skin is injured, we take care of the wound from the first moment to help our skin regenerate and that the scar be as discreet as possible.

Once the wound is closed, the scar may take a year or more to fully form. There are scars that respond better to treatment in the first months and others will improve after that time. That is why it is best to take care of them from the beginning and in the long term.

SOME TIPS TO TAKE CARE OF OUR SKIN

Disinfection: an infected wound can be synonymous with lengthening the waiting time to begin healing. That is why we must disinfect, making it easier to heal as quickly as possible.

Bandages: in case of deep wounds or cuts, the use of sutures by a medical professional may be necessary. If the wound is not deep enough for this, but it does open a little, you can apply a small bandage or approach strips that bring the two parts together and reduce the scar space.

Help in this process with natural aloe vera honey applied directly to the wound.

The studies analyzed in the article -18 works carried out over more than 60 years- suggest that the substance should be applied at regular intervals that, depending on the case, can vary between once every hour up to twice a day. The wounds thus treated are sterilized within three to ten days. "The available evidence suggests that the use of honey is especially indicated in wounds that become infected or do not close well",

Avoid sun exposure: sun exposure can cause scar tissue to be pigmented, leaving a hard to remove mark. That's why we have to cover the lesion from the beginning and protect it from the sun every time we go out with our ecological protection 50 sunscreen.

Deep hydration with our aloe vera gel: in the scars the tissue dehydrates faster, losing elasticity. Therefore it is essential to provide minimum moisture 3 times a day, we will apply the mixture of pure aloe vera gel with two drops of rosehip.

Healthy Food: it is essential to stay hydrated also inside. Foods rich in antioxidants and vitamins like fresh fruits and vegetables help the skin to regenerate faster. In addition, L-arginine accelerates the process of tissue regeneration. The role of different vitamins in wound healing was examined in a study, demonstrating that vitamins A, K, C, E, D, B are involved in this healing process. Zinc is also a very important trace element in the healing process; It is very present in legumes, nuts, vegetables, seeds, egg yolk and sprouts. We can also cure our wound inside with our aloe vera bio 99,75 juice made with fresh leaves.

To help our skin regenerate we can apply topically many natural treatments that will reduce the visibility of the scar and help to leave the skin more intact:
